Emergency Relief Service & Material Aid [ON HOLD DUE TO COVID-19]
Work For The Soul has developed emergency relief programs that are designed to alleviate hardships for people who are experiencing an immediate crisis.
We know the unfortunate circumstances some people are facing; very low incomes with insufficient financial resources for day-to-day needs, domestic violence, homelessness, illness and family breakdown, to name a few. We understand that for some people, these challenges make it extremely difficult to function and to care for themselves and their families.
Work For The Soul assists by providing food from our Food for Thought food rescue service and orders can be made for food parcels weekly.
Our Emergency Relief Vouchers are supplied to other support agencies for distribution. Vouchers are also available from Work For The Soul on application. Our vouchers are redeemable through our Penny Pinchers Op Shop and can be used to purchase selected items in the store.
We believe that when immediate hardships are removed, people have a greater chance of empowerment, and a glimpse of more positive days ahead.
